Our Vision

Hope Community Church exists to bring “Hope” through the Gospel and create “Community” through family.

Our Mission

Hope Community Church has a three stranded mission.

1. First, through word and deed, we purpose to let people know that God loves them & from that knowledge choose to follow Jesus Christ.

2. The family existed before the church did. We seek to learn to follow Jesus through the biblical model for the family.

3. We celebrate each week what God is doing through our families, community groups and accountability.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
- Ecclesiastes 4:12 (New International Version)

Our History

In October of 2007, God began to move in the hearts of the Price's for an area where they did not live and a group of people they did not yet know. The core vision of Hope Community began to form in their hearts with no insight about where or when this might occur.

In August of 2009, Danny and Michelle Price began to answer the call God had been gently giving for almost two years. They drove all over San Antonio and began to pray for wisdom and insight into what God was wanting to accomplish. It would take another six months for their move to San Antonio to occur.

Hope Community began in February 2010 with an outreach to the neigbor around the Price's house. They took cupcakes and goodies to local neighbors in an attempt to symbolize the importance of relationships in the new church.

During the Summer of 2010, Hope Community Church held monthly preview services as well as a basketball camp and VBS. The Basketball camp saw 11 kids come to know Christ. It was an amazing summer.

In the Fall of 2010, Hope Community held it's first public service at the Holiday Inn NW Seaworld on State Highway 151 and Military West Drive. There were 52 people in attendance. God is moving greatly and continuing to bless people through this new Church!

In January of 2011, God allowed Hope Community to move from the hotel into the Alamo Drafthouse on Loop 410 between State Hwy 151 and Marbach Road. We were also able to secure some office space and begin to have a place where peopel could come to be ministered to everyday.
